Burney Falls

We went here the day before the lunar eclipse. Its located 65 miles northwest of Redding, CA. You take Hwy 299 east to 89 north. Preferably it would be nice to have the entire scene in the shade. This is only about 1/3 of the falls. This shot was taken at 70mm, with an ISO 50, f/22 at 0.8s. The long time exposure gives the water that milky appearence. I underexposed the shot by 2/3s of a stop to make sure that the highlight were not blown out which happens often when shooting water falls.
